DANIEL PEDROSA
(1st): “It was a fantastic race, at a really high rhythm and the bike went really well. The tyres were sliding a little bit but it was under control and I was able to ride at my limit. I gave my maximum and I am really satisfied with a great race. It was really hot but it wasn’t as bad as in Qatar and it wasn’t as tough to keep up my pace. Now we are going to Australia and hopefully it will go much better for me there than it did last year. I want to keep my concentration and have another weekend like this one, which was great”.
HIROSHI AOYAMA
(crashed): “I don’t know what happened – I was riding comfortably in fifth place without any pressure from any other rider. I went into a corner a little bit faster than on the previous lap and I lost the front end. I’m really disappointed because I was in place to pick up a lot of points and gather some good experience”.
ALBERTO PUIG
(Team manager): “There’s not much to say about Dani’s race today, just to describe it as monstruous – he gave it everything from the first metere to the last. Hiro’s crash was a shame because he was having a good race. It seems he had a problem with the front tyre.In any case, all these experience form an important part of the learning curve”.
