DANIEL PEDROSA
(1st, 1’41”417): “We have had a good couple of sessions today because we have gone well in the wet this morning and in the dry this afternoon. It’s my second pole of the season and that’s always good, but the most important thing is that I feel comfortable on the bike and that’s all that counts. We don’t know what the weather will do tomorrow but I hope it’s dry. If so, it will be a long, hard race with a large group of riders to the end, and if it rains then we’ll just have to adapt as best as possible and finish the race. Tha would be the smartest thing.”
HIROSHI AOYAMA
(9th, 1’42”709): “We lost a session this morning because of the rain and in my case I need all four hours at every circuit to work on the bike. In the afternoon there was less grip on the track than yesterday and we weren’t able to improve the set-up. We’ll have to find a solution in the warm-up to be as prepared as possible for the race.”
ALBERTO PUIG
(Team manager): “We found a good set-up for Dani in dry conditions, whilst Hiro needs to improve a little further. In any case, we’ll have to keep an eye on the weather forecast and work with it. The only thing we know is that in the dry Dani feels good and in the wet this morning he was closer than ever to the front. We’ll have to be on our guard in the race.”
